The latest invention by the toy company Mattel will enable the canine population to post their thoughts on Twitter.
The ‘puppy tweets’ consist of a plastic accessory fixed to the dogs’ collars with a sound and movement sensor which translates the animals’ activities with a number of pre-recordings.
The device is then connected to a computer via a USB and transmits the doggy impressions to Twitter.
The message varies according to what the dogs are doing. If the animal is running, the message sent will be “I finally caught up with the tail I‘ve been chasing for days and ouuuuch!”, while if it’s been sleeping, people following the tweets will be able to read “It looks as if my paw’s still on the snooze button”.
The device will be on sale from October for 30 dollars.
