The walk “Women aware in the Fight against Breast Cancer” will be taking to the road on 7th March. It will start (at 10.00) and finish at the Praça da República.

The main route will cover a distance of 9 kilometres, but participants will also be able to cover a shorter route of about 4 kilometres.

People interested in taking part will find the registration form at all the Parish Council offices in the municipality of Tavira, at the office of the Sports Division of the local authority (Pavilhão Municipal Dr. Eduardo Mansinho), or on the day of the event at the secretariat.

Registration costs 7.00€, which includes a t-shirt, water and other promotional items.

The initiative will be marking International Women’s Day, which is celebrated on 8th March.
